Just for clarification VIN = WDBEA36E0NB804025 not WDBEA36EONB804025 \ they swapped the 0 for an O.

Looks like a decent car here for the price. I imagine it will be picked up quickly even with high miles.

Have not seen this one before, nor has it been to any local MB shows in the area. Pictures taken at Mercedes Benz in Bellevue WA.

Beyond me why a legit owner/seller uses Craigslist. Is it because it's free? Is putting up with the endless BS involved worth it?
...or they are of an age where they still think Craiglist is the hot ticket for classified ads... and may still have an AOL email address...

Preference for an easy local sale than to deal with the hassle of out of town folks and auction sites for a 200k mile car with history. He'll probably get MORE BS that way than CL. CL people will just ignore it unless they actually read and understand what he's saying in the context of these cars.

$.02

I recently sold a car locally and listed it both on CL and Marketplace. You have to pay $5 for each time you want to list or refresh a listing. I expected a whole bunch of BS but actually received none. Couple nibbles from CL but it was Marketplace that sealed the deal with a very nice person. Maybe the trolls have moved on from CL? I still look BC there are still people who use it.

I didn’t think this was going to last long. I know some may not like the facelift but I personally think a long term owner who clearly loved this car is a huge plus at this entry price point. I’m also a fan of the color combination which I think really looks good on these cars. My only regret was not having the funds to go after it myself.

Tough to tell. I went to see it on Wednesday evening. By Friday the seller told me he had taken a deposit, but at the same time also indicated he raised his ask to 29k.

I can’t explain the 33.5k adjustment shown in the modified C/L ad. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Haha. It actually might have been Tue. evening. It's been quite the week.

I sure hope he got $33k for it. That way my silver car with half the miles should be worth double, right?

 :ROFLMAO:
That IS how it works!!!

Might it be the one and only a777fan?!!?? 👀👀👀
Unfortunately not @TimL. Close but no cigar this time :)

Car is home in Spokane, WA - I purchased this car; the seller did not want to sell but life circumstances necessitated it. I offered him right of first refusal if I ever decide to sell this car. He asked I do not publicly disclose the sales price but the deal was made "around" his asking price. I am willing to discuss in private. Overall it is a solid driver; it has some typical quirks. It is not perfect but I wasn't looking for a low mileage garage queen (pair of handcuffs, IMO). I plan to post an owner thread at some point.

Congrats Ian ! You will not be disappointed in the driving experience !

I am hoping to sell mine for in / around the same neighborhood . . . very similar vehicles (although I am east coast), with mine having lower miles, similar amount of engine work completed 10K ago . . . but needing all wood replaced and steering wheel recovered to bring the interior up to the exteriors excellent condition. Anyways this is about you and your find . . . congrats !
