SOLD 1992 500E, Silver/Gray, 2,300 miles, $0.36M (Victoria, BC, Canada) - Jerry Seinfeld car

Hello Gents,
just as the post title reads.
insane! some very rich people out there who want a MINT 500e.
1992 500e 8,000 km driven sells for $357k USD!

Also, it seems 1992 with the OLDER front grille is making a comeback and more desirable than the late model 1994 and 1995 updated front grille. that old school look is really in fashion now!

A very well-sorted mileage of 60-90k would be more valuable to me! But... collectors will collect. Biodegradable wiring will biodegrade regardless of mileage
what would you personally pay for a well. sorted 60k to 90k mileage e500e?

IMO,Prefacelift models will always be more " desireable" ,as it is the OG look of the car :)The preface, and facelifts looks sooo different ,its quite remarkable.
My take is that the prefacelift cars, looks more brutal , than the more " pretty" facelift.
I also feel the same about the prefacelift w210 ,and the facelift. The Prefacelift w210, has a more raw look to the front end, and the facelift is more " polished".

A Mercedes-Benz 500E W124 once owned by Jerry Seinfeld has set a new benchmark at auction.
The car sold for $320,000 at the Amelia Island Auction, far above its original estimate.
What makes the 500E special goes beyond ownership.
It was developed as a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, with final assembly handled at Porsche’s facility due to its wider body and performance-focused design.
Under the hood is the M119 V8, delivering strong performance in a sedan that kept a relatively understated appearance.
This particular example stands out for its condition.
Despite being over three decades old, it shows just 2,335 miles on the odometer, adding to its rarity and appeal.
The combination of low mileage, documented ownership, and the model’s unique production history contributed to the record result.
