Hello,
I am considering selling my 1993 500E. I purchased this car four years ago from Copley Motors in Boston (Great guys, highly recommend). Since the purchase I have added a set of 18" Forged "Limited" style wheels, the Silver Arrow Brake upgrade, new motor mounts, and other minor maintenance items.
VIN: WDBEA36E0PB917587
This is one of the cleanest W124 500Es in the world. The interior is pristine, with only minor wear on the driver's seat. The rest of the leather looks brand new. The paint is overall good. From 6 feet away it looks perfect. There is some paint wear in the form of micro-scratches on the hood and roof. I have not done much to correct those. I have a close friend who owns a restoration shop here in Arizona. I brought it to him to see what he would recommend. He said the car is too beautiful to touch and to leave it as is. I did have the front lower spoiler repainted and PPFd.
Besides the Wheels, tires and brakes, the car is 100% OEM and everything works as designed. Windows, seats, sunroof, rear sunshade, rear headrests, etc, all work.
There is some cracking in the wood trim on the rear center console. Again, I was tempted to fix it, but I tend to keep things as original as possible.
I live in Scottsdale, Arizona. The car is here for anyone to look at and drive.
I am posting the few photos I have. I will take more and can send them to anyone interested.
I have owned at least 50 cars in my lifetime. This is easily in the top 3.
I know my asking price is slightly over market, I am basing it on the condition.
Thank you!
Josh
