Re: 1994 E500, Black(?)/Beige(?), 155kmi, Mecum Auction (Chicago)

The Mecum listing states that the car is "Black."

Doesn't look like Blauschwarz to me.

Re: 1994 E500, Black(?)/Beige(?), 155kmi, Mecum Auction (Chicago)

That’s going to be a tough sale late in the day on Saturday.

Looks like charcoal/shroom to me.

Re: FS: 1994 E500, Pearl Black/Parchment, 155kmi, Mecum Auction (Chicago, IL)

The car went across on Friday afternoon. Don't know if it was during the televised portion of the day.

Including the Buyer's vig, she sold for $19,800.

I'm gonna go on the record and make the call that the 036 market is leveling off and maybe even dipping a bit.

Stock market jitters aren't helping, either.

I am thinking of buying this one. Saw it the other day and to my eyes it is in the above average condition, looks like it’s never been painted and has 0 rust. It needs a new headliner and drivers side headlight has a crack. Some small blemishes on the body and a scratch below the right fog light, other than that paint really looks almost pristine. He has some maintenance into it since he bought it from mecum.

Cool. It does look like a nice car, and I LOVE the pearl black over creme beige. It's much more rare than the black or gray on that exterior color.

I hope you can get the car for a good price, and less than the inflated price the seller is asking.
