Hey people
I have somewhat found out "how" to do this...but at the same time,im not certain
It is indeed the bowden cable that should be adjusted.
To adjust this, you adjust the rod on the throtttle linkage
So i wanted to ask if someone can just describe what lenghtening the rod, or shortening the rod actually does.Do i lengthen og shorten the rod to make the car upshift earlier.

The car shifts to 3"rd gear at around 27mph..(44km/h).
i want it to shift abit earlier,,more around 24 mph (40km/h)

Can some one chime in please?

From memory, if you lengthen the rod the shift point RPM/speed will increase, shortening will decrease.

However, it's a trial-and-error adjustment. Small changes in rod length typically make a big difference, try a 1-2mm adjustment in length and see what happens. Fine-tune as needed.

Also - make adjustments with the E/S switch in the S (Standard) position. Changing to "E" will make all upshifts earlier / lower RPM / lower KPH.

Ok,,i will just try one or the other..and see which "way" it makes a difference. Thank you for reply :)
