18x9 et 25 and 18x9.5 ET 25. Made in Japan. Came across these while looking at all of the 500E's they have had/sold. Not cheap, looks like they are about $5300 for a set.

A 500E specific custom exhaust is also listed for those that might be interested, $2500 and a Alcantara headliner for $1360

I quoted few times back J-Auto for those wheels that are they willing to sell across the sea but the told that only for Japan. Wheels are made by Neez. I have bought a new set of BBS direct from Japan with help of local guy if someone is interested I can help get in touch with him.

Really nice wheels!:spend:

I was at J-Auto 2 weeks ago in Japan.
They had some really cool cars which were "not for sale" in a showroom.
One E500E had a kevlar roof with no sunroof. They also had some really super leather electric seats.
As I was accompanied by 2 fluent Japanese speakers, we established that one of the cars might be for sale around $110000......
The others were "customer cars" waiting to have work done on them.
Prices for all their parts were outrageously expensive.

Since when has any Mercedes parts been cheap in Japan? I can't remember any time in the last 20 years. What Japan has is a large quantity of unicorn parts that are extremely difficult to find here or are not available here.

At least the guys in Japan still have cool parts for sale. That has dried up almost everywhere else, safe for the odd bits and bobs that come up for sale in Germany once in a while. So all the more power to them, or as Zero Mostel suggested in The Producers: ""When you got it FLAUNT IT!!

Not sure if that one was a 6.0, but when we were leaving, we spotted round the back of their shop one E60, which looked like it was being used as an every day driver
@NIIBE 's car is the only 036 that I recall seeing with a carbon roof conversion - for weight reduction. His car was an E500E that received a factory AMG NOS crate motor, so it may not have been badged "E60"... I can't remember. The engine swap was done about 15 years ago, I think the roof replacement came later.
