This is the first frameless auto dimming mirror I have put together. These are called frameless, but there is just a tiny bit of black frame around the glass. This one is just a basic auto dimming mirror, no other features and will include a packet of installation accessories, installation tool and links to install videos and PDF installation document. You can see how this dims via the picture.

This will fit all of the W124's except the cabriolet and it also fits all the W201's.

That's a really nice updated design. I'd like one, since all I have are original spares that are destined to EXPLODE, but I'll have to wait a bit and hope you have them in the future.

That is hard to say. Most of these newer mirrors use LinBUS, so they can't be converted and there also seems to be a transition to very large ball/socket designs, something again, not suitable for conversion. So finding new style non-LinBUS with small ball/socket is challenging. When I do find suitable candidates for conversion, these newer mirrors are quite expensive as well.

I am sure as these vehicles get wrecked, more will show up at wrecking yards. I am hoping that I can get my hands on a Homelink 5 model with integrated bluetooth, which allows you to program your Homelink to control smart devices in your home.
