This auto dimming mirrors has a light beige bezel and black body. This would look great in a car with cream beige or parchment interior. This is an auto dimming only mirror, no homelink and no compass but it does have a on/off button on the bottom which allows you to turn the auto dimming function off. With auto dimming turned on, there is a green LED in the left hole at the bottom (the right hole is the light sensor). Will include installation tool and accessories as shown.

$150 shipped to US address's, international shipping would be $165. Payment via Paypal.

I wish this would fit my BMW 840Ci, because auto-dimming mirrors for those cars seem impossible to find.
I have built custom mirrors for Porsches, BMW's, Audi's and Volkswagens. I might be able to accommodate a 840, but you should send me some pictures of the existing bracket and rear of your mirror.

I can do that, but I'll have to go to the car and take some photos of it. I also have the original rear view mirror, on which the autodim feature no longer worked- I could send you that mirror if you think you could just put manual dimming in it. I don't actually have to have autodim. The 8 series BMWs came with all sorts of luxury touches that aren't strictly needed. Thank you.

This is a common auto dimming mirror used on the E31. Is it the same as yours?

I can do several things for you, if you send me your auto dimming mirror. I can replace the mirror with an identical one that works, or I can use your bracket and install another, more modern mirror with auto dimming and Homelink. Compass being optional if you want it. I should be able to use your original wiring harness and connector so it would be plug and play. I would of course need to know if your existing auto dimming mirror controlled one, both or none of your door mirrors (auto dimming door mirrors are common on most BMW models)

Some of these mirrors have circuit board inside them that are part of the alarm system, I believe its the mirrors with the black knob on the bottom. Normally if you remove this mirror, your factory alarm ceases to function.
