I have for sale a spare Base/General Module, one of the four CAN box computers in the 500E/E500 and 400E/E420. This is the three-fuse version of the BM/GM.

MB part number 009 545 91 32. Used for all years.

Ideal as a spare.

$75 postage paid in the US - $15 of this is US Priority Mail postage cost.

I've had more than one of these stupid things fail on me... can cause all sorts of weirdness, depending on the failure mode.

If you don't have a known-good spare on the shelf, I highly recommend getting one!

What's the difference between the 4 fuse / 3 fuse module? Can you use either of them interchangeably in our E500Es?

The three and four fuse units are fully interchangeable.
