Has anyone ordered anything from Benz Parts ( Illinois )? This sells on Facebook and Instagram.
Looks like there are a lot of interesting parts.

99.9999% of the "benz parts" sellers on facebook/instagram are scammers. The benz parts buy/sell groups are filled with 99.9999% bots that are trying to scam you. If you ever make a post asking if anyone has a certain part, no matter how rare and hard to find the part is, you will immediately get dozens of replies saying they have it and to dm them and sending you "proof" that they have the part using stolen images of it. Then when you dm them they will say their paypal is having technical issues so they can only take payment through e-transfer to their bank. Famous last words.

If anyone is interested on how scammers work, u ought to contact @Amgmercedes.parts.fulloptions but the problem is that if he reveal them then the scammers might change their strategy.

Also they are using A.I to further contribute their scam. So beware.

On Facebook situation is one of the worst. Basically everything is a scam

On Instagram there are about 5-6 people with more than 10k subs that are non scammers, half of them broker parts, without owning.

Everyone feel free to contact me regarding who is a genuine seller and who isnt.

The basic thing behind these frauds are phished paypal and bank accounts, so whoever you are sending money too, he is a victim too.

General advice for first time buying:
1. live video call of the part
2. only PayPal or ebay as payment (or something else with buyers protection)
3. if price is too good to be true, it will be a 99% chance of being a scam.

Take care guys! Scary times in this field.
