This is the tool used for analyzing the noise from the catalytic converter. It is not used specifically for any of "our" cars but takes the place of ones ear I suppose. Van Gogh would like to have this I'm sure.

It doesn't give any specific data, only a yes/no report that was mandatory for authorization of any MBUSA warranty repairs. The worst part is it used to make the Xentry machines crash all the time. I still hate that f'ing tool.....luckily we haven't had to use it for about 10 years.
