Last month in Chicago, the first annual 233 West event brought together a remarkable group of pre-merger AMG enthusiasts, collectors, and former employees of AMG Westmont. This North American franchise and distributor of AMG, led by CEO Richard Buxbaum, played a key role in bringing early AMG performance cars to the U.S. The gathering highlighted four Westmont-built AMG Hammers, offering a rare look at the cars that defined an era of independent Mercedes-Benz performance tuning.
