Yet another C11 YouTube video but possibly one of if not the best yet...

@R129 UK,
Awesome Video! Do you know what track and maybe who might have been driving?
What I found interesting was how seemingly the interior shots the driver was constantly changing gears but on the exterior shots all was smooth sailing.:wahoo:

Thanks for Posting.:thumbsup2:

It is at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, no idea who the driver is I'm afraid.

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Spectacular video. Wow.

The "rubbing" at 4:27 was unexpected... ditto the snap oversteer at an indicated ~145kph / 90mph at 4:50 while accelerating.

The car vibrated too much over ~250kph so it was impossible to tell what the peak speeds were on track, but it looked like maybe 270-280kph (165-175mph)?

:wahoo:

It is interesting because at times it seems to be balls out racing but at others it is noticeable there appears to be deliberate restraint because these are priceless machines.

Cool! What a video! :)
I was surprised to find that the manual transmission was a traditional H-shaped gear selector, not a sequential type.

In the description of Youtube it says that it is Michael Schumacher driving.
@Efraim,
You didn’t read all of the notes below the video which is dated December 11, 2025. It says that somebody I’ve never heard of “Kriton Landoudis” was driving the X-Michael Schumacher’s Sauber-Mercedes C11.

Since Michael Schumacher’s tragic skiing accident it couldn’t have been him.

Schumacher drove one together with Karl Wendlinger and another guy pre formula1 times in the so called Mercedes Junior Team. I have pictures of me sitting I the car in 1991. Was in display in the dealership my father was working and we had access to it after working times.

As well, here is awesome footage of the MB M119 C11 being chased by a 962 from the cockpit of the 962. You can see the the flames coming from the C11’s exhaust on the overrun in the corners.

The 962 is ultimately running faster (I read it was running 2.3 bar of boost - 33.8 psi - see all the boost induced rear end looseness) but the C11 sounds much much better than the flat six in the 962.

in the RAIN? omg. that 962 driver is nuts. I can't believe the car didn't swap ends a dozen times over. Pity the speedometer is blocked by the steering wheel.

:yayo:

@Jlaa,
Another Awesome video! The Porsche 962 was an awesome car in its day. I saw them running in the 1980s IMSA GTP Class at Riverside Raceway a long time ago. They were unbeatable back then. Drivers at the time were Hal Holbrook, Derek Bell, Hearly Hayward and others.

Hal Holbrook was a legend in the 962 until he was killed in a plane crash.
