Why not just get the Ryobi tool and use a battery adapter to put in the Milwaukee battery? Does the car air blower dryer really need to be super duty Milwaukee robust?
That might be a cromulent solution, Jlaa! I have a plethora of Red batteries, with no interest in expanding my power sources to include Lime Green batteries & chargers. If there's an adapter that would make this plug+play, that should work fine! (Edit - more info here.)

Also, to make up for less than half the CFM vs the Red leaf blower, the Ryobi is 20mph faster. :124fast:

Sorry, I should have clarified... I was looking for a Red or Yellow equivalent of the "drill size" Lime Green (Ryobi).

Milwaukee does have the full-size leaf blower linked above, but that seems like it would be a bit unwieldy for vehicle dewatering.

It's not that unwieldy. I use mine all the time for all kinds of stuff. It's easy to handle for de-watering, and also more powerful than the hand-held units. And it has "turtle" and "rabbit" modes, switchable.

Earlier this summer I bought the Milwaukee M18 wet-dry vacuum, in the small rectangular box. It's awesome - I use it for cleaning out all my cars, as well as any water that collects in the bilge of my boat after it rains, below the level of the bilge pump. HIGHLY recommend this wet/dry vac. You can get them at Home Despot. Capacity (wet) is 1.6 gallons. Never filled it up dry.

The Ryobi / Milwaukee adapters are like $10. https://www.amazon.com/Lasica-Replacement-Battery-Adapter-Compatible/dp/B09XX7XX1V/
I use my Milwaukee batteries in all kinds of Ryobi tools where I was happy to pay budget prices for tools that don't need to be super duty - shop vacs, etc.

Good to know - thanks! I'll keep an eye out for a sale.

ME TOO! Note there are a zillion different Red rectangular boxes in various capacities. I'd highly recommend the 2.5 gallon FUEL unit here, when there's a good sale / combo deal. The dust bags are sold separately, also recommended to avoid cleaning out the box separately and looking like Pig-Pen.

That's the same one I have. But it holds less water (wet mode) than dust/debris, where the full volume rating comes into play. There is a sensor at the motor that stops the suction when the water level hits a certain level (1.6 gals), sort of like the fuel level sensor on the E500E.

I also use this flexible attachment (purchased separately at Home Despot), as well.

It was a circuitous path leading me to the cordless hand held Ryobi. I have an 80v Greenworks mower that works very well for me. It replaced a long-in-the-tooth gas powered Lawnboy. A well serving 13”medium duty corded Homelite combo trimmer/edger got decommissioned following a long earned structural failure. It required an immediate replacement.

I wanted to go cordless & find a Greenworks combo trimmer/edger using same 80v battery. It doesn’t exist. I gotta have the combo. Ryobi was the only mfr having most of the design features I wanted, except it was 18v. There was a concurrent killer sale at the time, including battery & charger, so I bought it.

I have two corded medium/heavy duty blower/vac combos that give & take a pounding. A bit unwieldy for certain operations. I saw a neighbor with a handheld blower & immediately realized That’s what I need.

The Ryobis use the same interchangeable battery platform. I have 2 batteries. The blower is convenient in tight or remote areas. The wife loves it.

It is serving well.

With the majority of the populace either still asleep or up to the Track at Watkins Glen International, I knew I could continue an unhindered search for the elusive legendary cache of gray resettable light switches of VanZandt Hollow.

Despite my effort, They remain elusive.

Maybe next time.

New York **is** the homeland of my Dutch ancestors who first came to the US in the early 1700s. The patriots migrated to the Republic of Texas in the early 1800s, though, where this locale recalls their glory.
