Does any one have tandem PS pump for a 300 with SLS?

It's for the 90 300TE I bought about a month ago. I thought I had finally got the suspension sorted out. After driving the car a couple days after replacing that leaking SLS hose now the pump front seal is leaking badly. All I can think of is getting full pressure back in that system and new fluid got my seals in the pump. Am being told it's not easily rebuildable or to get the parts for if I could. Found a MB rebuilt one at MB Annapolis but it's a little pricey and my wallet is already hurtin on this car! If anyone has a used known good pump or another solid source for a rebuilt tandem pump please let me know.

It's almost always just the front shaft seal that leaks. The re-seal job isn't too bad, there is a HOW-TO on the forum which shows what is involved. Note the seal kits are totally different between ZF pumps and LuK/Vickers pumps.

Just talked to Mark at C&M he's going to send me a quote on a rebuilt unit. Will take a look at that How To on resealing the pump.

Evidently some one ran the SLS system dry and smoked the pump according to C&M. As bad as that line was weeping through the braid that pump likely was leaking since I have owned the car you just didn't see if for all the rest of the fluid leaks. Took 6 cans of brake clean just to get enough of the mess off her to see what was leaking and address them all. Hopefully this is the last of them. Both trans hoses the SLS hose and the U shaped gasket behind the distributor on the upper timing cover were worst of it and all were leaking badly.

Car had sat up for years in a garage and a whole bunch of the rubber lines were just gone. Amazingly only the front sway bar bushings were in bad shape from all the fluid leaks at the front of the engine all the rest of the bushings appear to be in very good shape go figure. Motor mounts trans mount and both flex disc were just done by the former owner right before I bought the car.
