Offered for sale is a Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited from a private collection, on behalf of a client.
This E500 has been in the hands of enthusiasts for 14 years. It has been meticulously cared for over many years, and a considerable amount of time, money, and love has demonstrably been invested in it. As a result, this E500 Limited is in superb condition. Everything looks good, everything works, and the car runs smoothly and confidently, just like on day one.
Here is a brief overview of the work that has been done on the car:
It had rust in the usual areas, such as the sills and wheel arches. This was removed, and the E500 was partially repainted. Subsequently, a comprehensive cavity sealing treatment with Mike Sanders rustproofing was carried out at an authorized specialist workshop for approximately €2,000. Body parts were removed, and everything was sealed with Mike Sanders. An invoice and photographic documentation are available.
Furthermore, the car underwent extensive mechanical overhauls. The transmission was rebuilt by a specialist and now shifts flawlessly. The entire wiring harness was renewed, axle components were replaced, the rear sunshade was repaired, and much more. As mentioned, everything on the car has been working perfectly ever since. The car is rust-free.
The E500 Limited wheels were also refurbished, recoated, and polished. They are now in perfect condition. The car also features a hands-free system with a separate handset and the legendary Nokia 6210. The hands-free system works flawlessly, as do the original Becker radio and the electric Hirschmann antenna. The underbody is rust-free, stylish, and clean (see photos). As it is an original E500 Limited, it is fully equipped. The service history is complete and fully documented.
The car is regularly serviced in our workshop, which specializes in classic, modern classic, and enthusiast vehicles, and we know it very well. The car is maintained here; anything that needs attention is done immediately. The Mercedes has the coveted H-registration (historic vehicle certification) and currently has a valid TÜV inspection certificate.
We also know the previous owner. He is also a Mercedes enthusiast. Contact can be arranged. The Mercedes originally comes from Switzerland. The Swiss emissions booklet, which also provides excellent documentation of its history, is available.
