E60 290kph

I hadn't seen that before. But it's either not a stock E60, or the speedometer is incorrect. It's showing 260kph at 5500rpm, and 290kph at 6000rpm. That means the car would need 2.47 gears in the differential, and the E60 came with 2.82 gears from the factory. Personally, I wouldn't want to drive at those speeds on a narrow 2-lane road with limited visibility and oncoming traffic...! Shame we can't find out more specs for that car.
BTW - I have a custom 190mph speedo in my car. I mostly like it for the fact that the steering wheel blocks the top of the speedo, so with the 190mph face plate, I can see up to at least 80mph clearly. I also have a 2.65 LSD installed so my top speed is approx 172-175mph, so it's not entirely just for show...

Wow - good knowledge and observation. I don't actually understand fully what you mean I have an idea.
Cool dials, I've been looking for someone in the UK to make some up for me but no luck so far. AMG and Brabus ones come up on ebay every so often but I've got a slightly different instrument setup with a clock at the bottom of my dial.
My dials
I can't tell if the dial fits behind the clock or if it has been cut to accommodate the clock if you know what I mean. Also, the AMG logo would be covered by the clock. Anyhow, I haven't been able to find a dial for this set up.
I'm particularly interested in an AMG one because they look WAY cooler than most brabus ones (although some of the later Brabus ones are cool also). If you click the link above and go right a few times you'll see what I mean.
Feel free to check out the pics, alot of them are stolen from your site but it's just a collection of pics that interest me. Let me know if you want me to remove any photos.
