E60 Limited Purchase order

Very cool.
"Weitere Sonderausstattungen" (further options)- 29,950 DM......and no desrciption...

Neat stuff. Odd it says "Limited" and has Limited color codes, but there's no code 958 shown.

"further options" were 882 and 957.

Yes, these are pretty cool I have a fax copy of the one for my car in the records binder. Pretty cool.

Yea, I would think 958 would be listed, but since its a order for a Limited, its probably assumed the redundancy of adding the 958 to the order was unnecessary

Is that Euro $95K of today's money or of 1994 money?
No that's 1994 money, I calculated the amount based on my last recollection of DM exchange, definitely 1994 Money.
More than150K Euros in today's money?

957means AMG Technic Paket ( AMG Engine and other Mod Swaybars Damper ) the same as an E50W210 is only orig wit this code.

Yes that is all in 1994 money/value/currencies.
I have seen a number of these in my 4 years search for my car and that number in DM is consistent with what I've seen i.e. mid-upper 190's DM depending on options.
To put it in perspective that 193K DM translated to $120K USD back then and that translates to $215K in todays $$ for an E Series MB/AMG sedan.

I have a copy the the original Bill of Sale for my car and it was not a 957 or 958 but was ordered new and delivered new from MB/AMG and the owner ordered a handful of special things on the order from MB/AMG back then and it exceeded the number above by quite a bit. I still don't know why he ordered it that way (it was 2nd half of '93 and he ordered '94 MY - so 957 code was available) but money must not have meant much to him and he must have "wanted what he wanted".

p.s. good find @2phast

Cool. This is undisputed document that the car is original AMG from factory, not one of those where the AMG parts and code were added latter on.
Did the buyer got 10% discount or what does the hand written text mean?

Just for the record; My 6.0 AMG was converted late 1994 and the receipt dated 16.02.1995 says DM 41.650 (that included an alternator at DM 850)
It was not a complete 957 package though but engine & transmission upgrade and front brake upgrade (no E60 suspension, AMG muffler and 300kmh tacho upgrade). The front brake upgrade was mandatory by AMG for all 500E prior to 01/93 when getting the E60 engine conversion. The brake upgrade is no more than the late 320 mm discs and calipers coming with the facelift, or mid/late 1993.

I have a copy of the 1994 AMG price list in case someone is interested. BTW, the 300kmh AMG tacho upgrade P/N #C7 54 0002780 was DM 1020,75

Yes, it is 10% rabatt (discount)

BTW, my car doesn't have the 957 code added so for that reason I never call it an E60 AMG, I feel the correct description is 6.0 AMG :rugby:
