Interestingly, the "E60" in the article is not an original E60, based on the VIN (WDB1240361C208913). It is an original E500 Limited, which was later upgrade with a 6L engine, and the Gen2 body kit. More details and history on that particular car are in this thread.

Update: Yes, I think it is that car, Dave. (..and despite I encouraged motornoter when chatting with him on PM to find an original E60 AMG Limited - he did not)
