interesting to see the air vents on the fenders
looks like the w124 multivalve diesel engine air vents
and the 8x16 gullideckels from the R129

And vents are different to 124 diesel and turbodiesel vents....

PS And this 036 has wheels which didnt go into production....

Hmm. I kinda like the vents. Probably another easy rust spot though. Wheels are disposable. But not opposed if they ever would have come with those instead.

That looks great with the SL specific ET. That's why I hung on to my 8hole ASA reps for the S124 as spares if I ever wanted to go back to the OE look (but with much better wheel well fill).

With 205/55 tyres no scrubbing and drove very well! 215’s might work as well.
