What are the offsets available? Have you mounted them on a 500E? Thanks kindly!
I only offer the 17x8.25” et34.

I have not mounted them on a 500e because o don’t own one.

There are a total of 30 500e owners that have these wheels mounted on a 500e with no reported issues of rubbing.

But I’m sure others will chime in if not do a search on the forum.

@captruff those look to be nice matte-ish finish metal valve stems. Which valve stems are you using?
Also - I am surprised that you are using such an aggressive tire - the Conti Extreme Contact FORCE.

I believe this is a competition tire jointly developed by Conti and Hoosier Tire? How do you like them for street driving so far? Just curious.

The valve stems are made by BMIC (Italy) they have temporary valve stems, see images

As for the tires, besides the Continental Extreme Contact Force tires which were recently available in 225/40/17 the only offering was the Hoosier A7 and R7 tires with a tread wear of 40 and a price of $359.00 per tire.

The tire application for the 16V is pretty narrow for the 17" 215/40/17 is not a lot when mounted on a 8.25" wide wheel (the 17x7.5 EVOII wheel does not clear the 500E Brembo aluminum calipers) and a 235/40/17 is a lot of tire and will rub given my car being lowered. That said the new Continental Extreme Contact Force tires with a tread wear rating of 200 was the obvious choice for me. I have about 3k miles on this set and have already purchased another set to have when these wear out.

Out of curiosity, what are the ride and noise characteristics on those ECF tires (200 treadwear [which is a lot!] competition tires)?

The valve stems are fascinating. So do you unscrew the little cap with an allen driver and the screw up the temporary valve stem every time you want to check air pressures?

I have been using these. They are aluminum. They appear to have some kind of anodized finish on the cap as well as the exposed stem. As well, the short stem that protrudes from the wheel also has a machined finish --- you can catch your fingernail on the little ridges, although I am unsure if the camera picks up the ridges.

I like these a lot and I have a few extra ones (they were provided by the manufacturer of my wheels) but I always wonder if there is state-side availability for these. They even match the color of the silver arrow calipers that I purchased from you-know-who. 🤣

The continental tires have a 200 tread wear but so does the Yokohama Advan A052 and those were done at 7,500....I think the Continental tires will be good for 10-12K miles and I'm OK with that. Ride quality and noise is fine...I don't expect much from a performance tire.

As for the valve stems, you are correct...the temp valve stem is used each time you need to check or adjust tire pressure...it is a minor inconveniece.
