Guessing that's a typo... these are still available new for ~$2k for a set of four.
I also can't think of any set of wheels that fit 90's vintage Mercedes which are anywhere near the $10k price point. Most crazy priced I've seen are the crack-prone 3-pc 17" AMG wheels made by OZ and even those rarely crack $5k/set. (see what I did there?)

What you have is a completely unrealistic heat check, that’s OUT OF HAND out of hand.

Looks like the price is now $3K, but that’s still about double the market price. But, better than the original 6x multiplier.
My set of 4 diamond cut Evo 2s sold for $1800 on eBay with free shipping a few months ago. And that's after being listed for sale for months. There's your market value.
What was the condition of your wheels?
Still, a far cry from the originally listed $10K. I mean, $2K would have bought ONE of the wheels listed here, at the original price.
They were good, but not flawless. A few very minor scratches and a couple very light curb marks on the lip on one wheel. As good as you'd reasonably expect for used. Great option for a driver, or an excellent candidate for refinishing if someone wanted a flawless set.What was the condition of your wheels?
