I thought you were talking about the same piece that @captruff is showing. That's what I have been hoarding.

I believe the piece you illustrate in the diagram is NLA, and we had another member (@RicardoD?) who was also looking for one recently. I beleive that a 400E piece can be adapted for this use....may be easier to find (or even available from MB).

Yes, I also want one of these. I have a 400e version but it has to be modified to work. It is on my project list and also an excuse for me to buy a welder. You have to break the welds on the 400e version and flip the bracket around.

Noticed I was missing an exhaust hanger today. Does anyone have a picture of their car in this area? Trying to figure out what parts I need to order. No so clear in the parts diagram below.

Which bracket are you looking for, since 2 different ones were discussed in this thread... #89 (catalyst bracket at transmission), or #140 (resonator hanger at subframe)?

As @RicardoD mentioned, your best option may be to source the .034 bracket and modify it. Locating an original will be tough since it was 036-only.

Same here... I have a #89 or two kicking around (catalyst/transmission bracket).

Had I realized #140 was going NLA, I'd have been trying to snag them from junkyard 034's, since they could be modified as RicardoD described.

036-specific original brackets are going to be valued like Euro lenses at this rate.

Old topic but can someone post a photo where the bolt can be seen clearly. To be more specific A1244902040 is the part where I'm looking for a photo.
The part is ok but the bolt is badly rusted and broken. MB won't sell the bolt and it comes with the part and part is NLA.. I'd like to find bolt close to original

IIRC there is no bolt for A1244902040, it has a mounting stud welded on, and then a copper nut & washer are used to attach to the subframe?

Note this part is 036-specific.
