Flexi disks

I am after a set of flexi disks for the front and rear end of the drive shaft on my w124 e500.

I have looked on pelican parts and they are there for sale but there is a genuine mercedes alternative for $250. Is it worth buying the cheaper alternative or should I go for the Genuine Mercedes part?

Are there any other suppliers out there? I live in the Middle East - Oman, if I could find somewhere a bit more local it would be ideal...

I also need the actual part numbers for these parts - does anyone have them?

Cheers

Steve

That is for one disk w/bolts. Maybe you'll find complete kits F+R for sale. I need a set myself BTW.

Naperville has the OE Genuine MB for $189 each, free shipping with code 500EPROMO:

Aftermarket is ok if they are reboxed SGF (OEM manufacturer), but it's crapshoot buying aftermarket... you won't know if they are SGF until you open the box, then you may or may not have to deal with a return.

FCP claims to have the OEM for $110/ea delivered:

Thanks for the visual! So this is another case of reboxing if not MB part... FEBI in their pictures have SGF 8 and GAD138 stamps...

I've ordered a genuine mercedes one from Pelican Parts $225 - a lot of dollar but will hopefully cure the vibration issues I have. Ordered 1 because I already had one replaced last year at the back - that was genuine mercedes part too.... this ones going on the front.....

Finding sgf's usually isn't terribly hard. Never had one Not be in balance/perform differently then a factory bit.
