Re: fs - 1994 E500 on CL

Isn't this car the same that PSPORTOVELOCE met with recently at Cars & Coffee when he bought his E500 from Tanger? :scratchchin:

See post #11 on link below:

http://www.500eboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6664

Yep, same car. I drove it and spent several hours with it, albeit not inspecting it that closely. Car is as represented. Lowers were painted by original selling dealer, prior to delivery, I believe, with documentation to support. Needed accumulators when I drove it; not sure if it still does. Car has its original 1994 CA plates and is only for sale because the seller bought a higher mileage (but still low mileage) DB199 E500. He's a collector with lots of other neat cars.

Needs accumulators, meaning it rides like the rear shocks are made of stone? Jeez. For that price, it should need absolutely - and I mean positively - nothing. Nothing at all. Not $5k deferred maintenance; zero dollars. Even then it's still over market... IMNSHO, of course.

That said, I would love to see him get close to that price, as it should help the value of our 036's!

:hornets:

I wonder if any of the Other usual consumables have been done preemptively..harnesses etc..

If the car in Miami was priced @ 60 this doesn't seem all that horrible! An E34M5 with similar miles and paint work brought 70K recently.

The car could essily have the original harness. I was shocked that my 212k mile car had the original harness and ran fine. I replaced it and can't say I noticed any difference other my peace of mind.
