FOR SALE FS: "Euro" Warning Triangle (exclamation point version)

Up for sale I've got a Burger "exclamation point!" warning triangle. Condition is EXC-. No rust or other major blemishes. No hesitation to put this on one of my cars -- better condition than 80% of them that I see out there.

$60 postpaid, via US Priority Mail, in the continental USA. $15 of that cost is postage, so the actual item cost is $45.

To mount the triangle in your car, you would need the plastic rotating clip holder. This is orderable and fairly cheap from your local dealer. The part number for this clip is 140 890 00 14 and you can get it from MB for $7-8 list price. Clip is not included in this purchase.

I take payment via PayPal or other means by arrangement.

Cheers,
Gerry

Yes, all European MBs had these warning triangles.

If you want it, you better jump soon because these never last long when I put them up for sale.

The first person I have cash in hand from, gets the triangle.

I would like it, Gerry. I could drop a check in the mail tomorrow. I will give Chris a chance to respond 1st.

Drew, you confirmed you want it first, if you have been searching for this and want it go ahead it's all yours. I just thought it would be a cool option to add (not to mention Gerry is down the street from me.)

if the deal doesn't come together I'll take it Gerry.

Regards,
Chris

You are a gentleman, and you did respond first. I'll wait for the next one, thanks!

While still in the C126, how is the W124 attached in lieu of the carpeting on the lid?

You have to cut two small rectangular holes in the appropriate places in the deck lid lining, with an X-Acto knife. And also cut out for the top clip. Best to remove the lining to do this so that everything is lined up correctly. It's a 20-30 minute job.

Drew, if I go back to Germany in September, I'll plan to score a few triangles to bring home with me from my favorite wrecking yard in Munich. You can have first dibs, if you don't score one before then.

I only bring back the nicest ones I can find - no rust or major paint issues, blemishes, etc.

I always recommend that folks order their own clips, though.
