I guess both lenses are original if you look at the PN appearance. But one is probably sold from an aftermarket repack'er etc.. they often erase the MB start. Below is the EGR-valve on my 220 Cdi.

It's an OEM lens with the MB star removed, that was sold on the aftermarket as a replacement.
Plenty of parts (Behr radiators are common) where the MB star is burned or ground off. You can also see it in Arnt's photo above, where the start was ground off the part.
