I bought this about a year ago from the dealer for £37 IIRC. I installed it in my 500E at that time only for around 50 - 100 miles before I did alot of work to the engine including “upgrading” to a late style water pump and thermostat hence this was removed but is virtually brand new.

Asking £18 + postage. Ideally suited to UK members for reasons of postage cost. Payment via paypal "Friends or family option" so no fees. I can provide a postage qoute on request. Within UK first class post is around £4

Thermostats do lose functionality when older and a new one will normally give much faster warm ups and get the engine up to proper temps. I replace mine about every 5 years in each car sometimes sooner when I see the engine temp drop a few C lower - a sign of a failing thermostat.
