I have an E-GAS module which was pulled from a running 1992 500SL. Great to have as a spare.

$165 shipped via US Priority Mail in the US.

Hi Robert,

I believe this is an ASR module from an early R129 SL, not an E-GAS module.

You have had this listed in the E500E Parts for Sale section. Doesn’t look like this module will fit an E500E, as it is solely for the early R129 chassis. Also, I believe the R129 in early form (through the 1992 model year) utilised CIS-E fuel injection on its M119.96X motor, not LH as the 1993 500SL models debuted, so it wouldn’t have an E-GAS module like the E500E's.

Moving to appropriate sub-forum.

Cheers,
Gerry

EPC says it's an "electronic accelerator" module for models with optional ASR. This is different than the ASR module.

I don't know enough about the 129.066 with CIS-E injection to comment further... need Jono's input.
