Doubtful if FCP knows things are NLA. They will keep the listing active until they try to place an order through Mercedes and have the NLA status returned.

These have been NLA from ~2021 or so. I was trying to mirror Gerry's top end refresh and noted the lack of availability then.

+1, its not a big deal to reproduce even if based on a R129/W140 cable.

Last one has a production date 07/2021

@dreaming.haze discovered the 034/036 throttle cable once again shows "Available" at MBCC.

Someone would need to contact a live person at a dealership to inquire if there is any inventory available, how many are available in Germany vs USA, etc. RevParts websites still show "Discontinued" which is why you must call and talk to a live person who can check Paragon.

I'm seeing current MSRP of $137 USD, if you can get one... about $100 from discount dealers.

I'm seeing current MSRP of $137 USD, should be about $100 from discount dealers in USA.

It will take some time for RevParts to reverse their discontinuance. I don't know if each induhvidual dealership has to do this manually when a customer contacts them about buying, or if there's a more global reversal process.

I let Eddie Alexander of MB Annapolis know that both the rear windscreen and throttle cable for the .036 are available. He confirmed this, and confirmed stock of both in Germany (still), and told me this morning that he made the changes in their RevParts system to reflect this status, and make the parts orderable through www.getmercedesparts.com

I do not know if this applies to other dealerships' RevParts systems, but indeed it is now possible to order both parts through the above MB Annapolis RevParts site. MB Annapolis has a GOOD DEAL on the rear glass, too, so I'm going to order a piece to join my spare factory windshield in my deep parts stash.



Looks like any update from a dealership only translates to THEIR OWN RevParts site. Looking up the rear windscreen on MB Naperville (mboemparts.com) is still showing NLA. I would assume it would be same for Laredo, etc.
