I'm looking to replace the plastic area around the headlights that have crazed on my 92 500e. Are they still available, and if they are where can I purchase some.

Head light doors I think

Don't buy from Mercedes. They can be found a lot cheaper from a parts supply that sells Bosch parts for Mercedes cars.
I bought one for my old 300E from Miller Mercedes (restoration parts) in Fountain Valley CA. Caliber Mercedes Wholesale wanted about $100.00 and Miller sold it to me for $65.00. That was a long time ago but you can see the difference.
Look around maybe online.

The head light doors for the 500E are specific to the .036 chassis, since the lenses are for pencil beam auxiliary driving lights, not fog lights (translation - you can't use the cheaper ones that fit the 300E). The part numbers are 124-820-53-12 (left) and -54-12 (right). From the dealer, current MSRP is $260 each, or ~$210 each wholesale.
AutoHausAZ claims to have them for $95 each, and they show list price as $152, but these haven't had a list price that low since 2005. I suspect AutoHaus simply hasn't updated their pricing yet. I'd order a pair quick before they fix the error.
BTW, for reference purposes... the standard 124 doors (for the 300D, 300E, 400E) are p/n's 000-826-05-59 and -06-59, $236 list, ~$190 wholesale, and currently on sale at Autohaus for $57 each. But please don't put these on a 500E!
