It was a fox body notchback, set up like you used to see them all the time. Big rear tires, very small fronts. Driven by a 20 something (did not get a good look) kid. We're on a 40 mph road which Y's off to the left on to a long straight road which has a 50 limit, but no one goes 50... No stop sign to go left, just wait for traffic.
I'm trailing him several car lengths back and I see his turn signal go on, I'm headed that way also. No traffic. So he makes the turn at 35 or so, and nails it, as do I. I'm sure he though WTF is this geezer in a MB doing? Well, I kept up with him, not losing a bit, and started to actually gain at about 90-95. We both had to back off at about 110 to slow for a sweeper. I though he might lose it on the curve because of his tiny front tires, but he managed. Another half mile up the road he bailed off to the left, as I swept by his tail I gave him a thumbs up.
It's very rare to have any kind of street race in podunk where I live, I gotta take what I can get!
