Help I'm locked out...but only on the rear passenger side

Hi All:
I have a problem with my rear passenger door on my 1992 500E Euro. Regardless of the lock stem location (up/down) the rear passenger door refuses to open from either the inside or the outside handel. Any suggestions on how to access the locking mechanism and what to look for.

I do notice that the pneumatic actuator(s) are a bit slow (it's - 5 C here) but all the other doors lock and unlock without issue.

Hello, i had the same issue on my w201 rear door couple years ago. I took lock mechanism from parts car and had no issues ever after. I just cant really remember how i managed to open the door, did i take the rear seat off and then the door panel then greased and wiggled the lock mechanism?...
