Instrument bulb test

Hi. Im in the hunt for a strange problem.
When you put the ignition on 2 the instrument cluster lights up all the bulps as a test. But it's not working in my 124

So I removed the instrument and wanted to test with anotjer i had "complete instrument"
And that worked. Witc led me to beleave it's an instrument problem. All fuses checked as well.

So I brought both instruments in on my test bench. And wonderd how to simulate this startup to check for this.

Theres ground on pin 1 W1 so I gave that ground to my Lab power suply. 20A max

Theres 2 plus 12 volt pins. One has directly 12 volt always as I see it. Pin 8
It says fuse 8 terminal 15 unfused. So I have that a plus 12 volt.

The pin 6 is from fuse 5 terminal 15 ignition plus. So I gave that pin plus after the other one. And I thought that would be it.
But even the instrument cluster that worked in the car does not tigger this startup bulp check.

Am I missing something?
Pin 9 is battery charge indicator terminal 61
I tried to ground that as well as giving it 12 volt but no luck.

So how does the bulp test work?
