All,
Does anyone have knowledge of or documentation regarding late E500 braking system characteristics and equipment? I own a '95 Euro E500 (originally delivered in Germany) and recall having to jump through hoops to find a replacement brake booster as the original had failed. I remember learning (read it on a dealership service computer) that my car has unconventional brake proportioning: it has a 50/50 front-rear bias up until either the onset of rear wheel slip, or in high speed turns at which point it goes to a more typical (maybe 70/30?) proportioning. The car definitely dives less under braking than my '92 car, and benefits from the larger brakes both front and rear.
Any information appreciated
