Loaded question

Torque converter.

So in having my continually problematic transmission diagnosed I was asked, "What kind of torque converter is in the car?" I did not expect that question. When I inquired further the tech said, "Well yours is blue. I've never seen a blue one in a 722.3!"

So I did some looking and cannot find a blue one for these cars. So I ask you all the same question...

Rebuilders sometimes paint the converter, which can be any color. My guess is, your transmission has been rebuilt and they painted the converter blue!
