Love these Russian lunatics and their turbocharged 300CE!!

I would rather replace cracked windshield instead of installing turbo and everything. It is MB and classic MB so why turbo ? why JDM style tunning ....

They do speak russian but I believe they are not russians and it is not Russia on the video.

Really? I've always thought Russians were the last REAL men on the planet (speaking as a neutered American), so I just assumed they were Russian (shows what I know). Those guys cracked me up (I especially liked unburying the turbo in the middle of the field). Here is their website; can you tell where they are located? http://turbobandit.com/shop/

BTW, I absolutely LOVE Arnt's (??) Koenig supercharged 500e. Awesome car (although not original). I have two all-original e420's; my salvage title E500 is going to be my "fun" car.... :-)

Be "real" man does not mean to be a redneck or jerk (that is what I think about anybody who spends all money on one upgrade when the rest of the car is junk).

Arnts car is completely different case . At the very least it is Koenig kompressor. In addition, it is well-taken car of 500E. I doubt he would have a kompressor on it and 10-20 cracks on a windshield.

Noooo, do not do that with your E500, salvage title is just title a piece of paper ! It is still nice and rare car which is in a decent shape and gets better. I would rather play with the E420/400e there are plenty of them and they worth just same as the decent set of wheels maybe with tires.

OK, wasn't trying to offend anyone (sometimes I forget myself, as I am literally IMPOSSIBLE to offend :-) ). To be honest, I didn't even NOTICE the windshield (was laughing at their zany antics).

If/when I install forced induction on my car, I will take great pains to make sure it is possible to restore it back to stock. I have been playing around with the idea of a Holset rear-mounted turbo for awhile now. Biggest issues seem to be ground clearance, engine management (megasquirt?), and intercooling.

And you are right about Arnt's car Roman; it IS amazing. Isnt Koenig aftermarket though?

Sweden.

:spend:Stage1 Turbo kit $27K, Stage2 kit $38K.

Thank you for the translation/info, Sir. I just figured out they meant Kroners on the price page. That's WAY steep for the kit though; think it could be done successfully for LOTS less. My exploratory foray into F.I. is a military vehicle in which I am currently swapping a Dodge 440 Magnum big block engine. We are discussing twin Volvo turbos or a Holset for it. Should give me an cursory idea into what's involved ....... :-)

Approx 80% cost is attributed to VAT. But that ensures the hospital care will be "free", though, after drilling a reindeer at 240km/hr. :hide1:

Yes. Hammered & now pushing up lillies! No hospital care required there, just clean-up & funereal costs...:skull:
