HI,

I have question, I have both right hand side headlamp from Magneti Marelli. The metal piece in the main light is different than in Hella lights. Would this affect the way the light works? Magneti marelli Lamp is a temporary measure until I find 500e lamp. I have attached two photos.

The 036 lights have no metal shield over the H3 bulb, and yes this will affect the way the H3 lights work. This is the primary difference between the lights (along with different lenses).

Since these are temporary, don't worry about it, and keep looking for the 500E lights. Remember to make sure the 500E lights you buy are for right-hand-traffic (UK/Japan/Australia) since your profile indicates you're in the UK. The H4 reflectors and the lenses are unique/different for LHT vs RHT.

Shield in the photo is over the H4 bulb. Only difference is that hella has an open shield and magneti has full shield. Shield over the H3 bulb has been removed already. I have 500e lense. Car is in Poland and I have correct lights. Just curious about shield difference.

The difference in shield design over the H4 bulb should not make a significant difference. Again, I wouldn't worry about it. The main difference is for the H3 bulb and if you removed that shield and have 500E lenses, you are functionally equivalent to proper 500E lights (assuming the lens/reflectors are both the correct orientation).
