Converting regular w124 headlamps for E500E use?

The regular w124 headlamps have different “non-mirrored insides” where the foglights (pedestrian) / driving lights (e500e) are. IDK if the shape itself is different. If the shape is the same, I ran across this outfit that claims to be able to re-mirror the insides of headlights. This, of course, does not solve the lens unavailability issue.

Use of the term "pedestrian" should particularly be avoided for the headlights that are purchased and immediately flipped by unscrupulous E500E headlight market speculators and flipper/dealers.
