Same here. I'm dreaming of how to find 9 liters of displacement from a Mercedes engine. Or with Brabus rounding upward, at least 8.01 liters so it can be badged 900...

:jono: :ROFLMAO:

Very nice kit. Not my style, but still impressive. Well done(y)
Since you're calling it E900E... I would want it to have a 9.0 liter engine!!!:yahoo::gsxracer:
Good call :D but there are reasons why it is called E900E. If anyone has managed to put 9.0l in W124 then I'm also curious how it goes :D
  • It's inspired by the BRABUS 900 rocket lineup designation.
  • instead of 9.0 liter engine, it can be boosted over 800+ HP that's how BRABUS did with their undercover rocket engines on a V8 4.0L

I'm totally ok making 900hp with less displacement. Great compromise!
W124 is a compact car as famously intended. It has heat issues aswell for V8s. So the power output doesn't always mean bigger displacement and the weight distribution has a lot of impacts for the chassis unless you need to strengthen the frame even further to yield satisfied handling and suspensions changes. Which I want to avoid for this moment.

I do however respect historically that displacement do corresponds the badge number for these cars. But engineering and technology got advanced today. As you said that the V8 engines today is on steroid

:v8:

I like this kit, especially in the white trim, very clean look. And the front reminds me a bit of the Gumpert Apollo and I love that car.
I'm glad you admire it. My aim for this design has to be something of a universal standard appearance but elegant sporty that has to fit in all ages. And at the same time still not to change the legendary W124 designs completely of its DNA which is the hardest part.
Gumpert Apollo do have that same design on the front bumper which is very cool.

The black 900E got the nickname Darth Vader according to instagram .

The design works quite well with the W124, it’s definitely form following function, with a modern splash. Some of the lines are also reminiscent of the Evo II.

If I had the money (and wanted to do a project car); I would get a 300CE, this kit, an 036 drivetrain, 036 seats, SA brake kit, forged wheels and call it a day.

It would be awesome. I will also make a coupe version design fitment. The front might be the same but different rear bumper and side skirt.
The beauty with coupe is that it allows you more freedom to play than a four door sedan.

Is it installed on a car yet or is there “only” (I know it’s a ton of work) 3D renderings?
Hello! As stated in post #1 It needs funds by pre-order so the production can start. So the whole process will be estimated to take 5-6 months to make perfect fit before we ship to the customers.

All you see is the 3D-rendering presentation for now. I wish to see it on the road 2024!

Update on the E900E Bodykit: Mozy is going to build the kit and he also bought W124 for himself to get this kit on his car!

After that I've received the 3D-scan of Mozy I saw that there was room for further tweaks, especially the rear fender and rear body. So eventually it got wider and this became like a Hammer. So I thought, why not making this sedan to look like it? But much wider.

This design is the final whereby aerodynamics has taken into consideration and some air downforce for intake coolers. It is wider than W124.036 by 10 mm so the looks became like a hammer around the wheel arc fenders and cladding panels. So this is called the E900E Undercover Rocket Hammer! Also taillight is new, so this is LED stripes instead. Kinda looks modern I think,

Paint- Blueblack/midnight blue
Wheels- Rotiform 19 inch wheel with ceramic brakes.

I will reveal further photos for extra detail where the car is in clear weather outside to study the shape. I'm releasing this photo shoots for now. Enjoy!

Midnight Blue (904, non-metallic) or Sapphire Black (009, metallic) would look fabulous.

009 almost looks like a metallic Midnight Blue...

I think what I've tried to achieve here is DB199. The forgotten paint for Mercedes overall. Maybe the lightning is tricky here.

199 Pearl Black Metallic / Blue-Black is the most common color for all E500E, about 50% of production was DB199. Which is why it would be nice to have something a little different!

:tigger:

News: The kit is getting built now, a customer from US order it. Can't wait to see the final result. This will be called V1 design. The V2 design is reserved for a tuner that has TUV License to be road legal in other countries.
