A bit OT but almost every time I make WTB topic some scammer send me an message that he/she has part/tool whatever for sale. Last time some scammer offered that Miller 9110 for sale, requested 135 $ and provided copied pics from eBay..

Best scammer was that he posted picture of general Mercedes cardboard package which can be found in google and said that it is genuine and new. I requested picture from the part but never got any.

Have anyone else faced this kind of behavior?

I've heard of similar antics, but thought it was pretty rare. If anyone receives a scam like this via the forum, contact @xfadmin or @gerryvz so they can appropriately fire up the ForceChoke™ or Pooferator®, respectively.

I have never received any scammer offers related to my activity here on the forum. Though activity related advertising pops up on the worst websites jammed with ads. Months ago I was looking for swimming & scuba diving gear, and I immediately got pop-ups for female underwear..?! And it lasted for quite some time, that's nice when surfing for something sitting next to the wife...."Honey, I was just looking for some new scuba gear for you!"
