Missing Tom Hanson @ MBCC

I sure miss Tom Hanson (retired) at MB Classic Center, on the last week of December 2023 ... I placed a small order of parts (US$500+) however, the person I had been ordering from was on vacation and he referred me to another guy. This person typed up my order of parts, and emailed me a snapshot of the invoice.
I noticed that my client detail (address) was my old address and that the address of where the parts to be shipped in L.A. was also the old address. I requested that corrections be made, so that "wrong delivery address" problems are avoided ... he replies "noted but he can't change the info on client data on their system" :banger: ... the parts were delivered to my freight forwarder in L.A. and 3 days later arrived Manila.

Fast forward, my regular parts guy at MBCC reports back and I again, order parts (~$1500, and heavy: engine mounts, drag link, tie rods, steering shock, belt tensioner etc) ... and also notified him if he could update my client information and also the address of my freight forwarder in L.A. ... he replies "DONE". He sends me a tracking number ... which when "tracked" shows it's on it's way to Manila  instead of my freight forwarder in L.A. I will not pay the freight charges of FedEx ($$$$) which will be more than the price of the parts for a package weighing about 10 kilograms+ and delivered to the wrong address + government mandated taxes on these parts as they are above US$200 in value !!! Of note, with my LA based freight forwarder, I pay US$31 per kilogram delivered within 3 days to Manila.

I have never experienced any problems with regards to parts shipment when Tom was still at MBCC Irvine ... whats up at MBCC Long Beach o_O:eek::mad: ... I wonder what the explanation regarding the HUGE MISTAKES will be on Monday (USA time) be emailed to me ... I sincerely hope they would issue a "Return To Sender" notice to FedEx ...

Seriously, are there any options with other MB OE parts suppliers who can extend the same discounts on parts from MBCC with cheap or free shipping to L.A. 90301 ??? I still need MB OE parts (radiator, A/C condenser, heater radiator(?), etc). And of utmost concern, an experienced parts guy to communicate with.

I truly apologize to our fellow forum members for the rant

Regards

Hello Gentlemen :)

With recommendations coming from forum members daantjie, TimL and Jlaa ... after I correct the mistakes of my MBCC parts guy, I will start dealing with Jon Siggson (y) ... BTW, may I ask for his email address at MBCC?

Thank you very much and best regards.
