This is my milage on my 500E as of today! April 17, 2023


As can be determined I have only put 1,000 miles on my car in approximately 82 months. Not a very good average (12.20 miles per month). Sad but true. I'm not quite sure when I quit driving my car because I was driving it until I had two surgeries which took about 3 years out of my life. Anyway today I hit the 143,000 miles and thought I would record it for posterity. Surprisingly it still runs great for being in moth balls for such a long time.

PS: Pardon the dust on the dash. I just took it out of the garage and drove it about 10 miles to get the juices moving. It and mine.

Thanks Guys for the compliments. That is the best pic I have of my car. Currently it looks the same but needs some refreshing. While in my garage the headliner fell down and my sunroof needs repair and I’m ready for a new set of tires. All of which I intend to get fixed this year. Even though it still runs great it’s time to change out some overdue engine parts. I have all new PVC hoses, VC gaskets, upper chain rails, upper harness and other stuff to install proactively.

Although it has mostly sat for 6 years I still have managed to put over 50K miles on her during my ownership since Oct 2004. Recent pic were taken June of 2022 and I’m happy to say she’s still a looker.
