Hi guys,

I just pulled the codes today after doing a small service on the car. My model is a non ASR vehicle. I am getting DTC 11 on PIN 6. (Solenoid Valve Relay A7k1). Is this code related to the upshift delay..?
I just replaced the Transmission OVP switch. The code still came up, but I am guessing its because I forgot to reset the darn thing after replacing it..?
Well if anyone could point out where this relay is located and it function I would really appreciate it..

Thxz,

DH

Nah, it has nothing to do with the upshift delay. It's for the ABS system. Clear the code, it could be a fluke. If the code keeps coming back, then you may have a problem. I suspect the relay is internal to the ABS system (not an external cube relay that you could test/replace) but I'm not sure exactly. I bet it will go away after you clear it though.

Now I pulled DTC 6 from PIN 7 = Safety contact switch (M16/3s1)..? What safety switch would that be..?

I think you mean a gearbox switch named a Starter Non-repeat & back up light switch (Natural safty switch) #: "000 545 62 06"...........

ZAYED,,

You sure about that? Code 6 from pin 7 on a non-ASR car is invalid, on ASR car it's the starter lockout switch S16/1.

What document are you using to look up code descriptions, btw? M16/xxx is the throttle actuator.
