Just to clarify: This is the bare bumper cover, with no tow hook cover, no lights, no mounting hardware, etc etc... correct?

Are these other parts available @gsxr?

maw
Mounting hardware from the original bumper should transfer over without any issues. 2/3 of the brackets are available from Mercedes still, the 3rd is NLA. The one that’s NLA transfers over easily. Simply unscrew them from the cars current bumper or any parts bumper.

Tow hook cover is NLA but reproductions are available on the open market.

Fog lights, not sure.

Correct me if I’m wrong but this is for a standard 300E320. I don’t think it’s wide enough for an 500E500.

It's funny this came up, I've been thinking about this lately because I was wondering what it would take to achieve an E60 or just AMG look for the matter.

The wide fenders seem to flare out right where the end of the bumper meets. I made a comparison between an E36 AMG (non-wide, same generation body kit) and E60 AMG (wide, same generation body kit) for reference.

Edit: Check this thread out: Does the E500 and E60 AMG share the exact same body parts? | W124 AMG & Tuner Cars

FYI - it was never made any AMG body kit for the 036 (500E, E500, E60 AMG, and the Limiteds).

The AMG body kit version I and II are both for the regular 124 models - sedan, coupé and stationwagon.

So especially the front bumper corners on these kits have to be stretched/tweaked to align with the wider 036 front fender flares.

These photos from W124performance.com show how much wider a 500E bumper is when mounted on a standard 124. The AMG bumper would need to be "stretched" this much to fit properly with 500E fenders.

AMG did also provide a widening kit for the front fenders on the regular 124 models to avoid tire rub when fitting the wider AMG wheels. I've seen it once somewhere and IIRC it was just some plastic pieces (+extended bolts) put in between the fender mounting interfaces to push the fenders some millimeter outwards.

Yes, IIRC it was the same kit for the W201 and W124. The kit below is mine, and I bought it back in 2013:

The AMG gen II bumper fitted to a 500E was pretty common in Japan. I have seen many and even spoke to one person who installed one on their car. This wouldn't apply to aftermarket fiberglass infused bumpers, just the the OEM ABS bumpers that can be heated and molded into the proper shape.
