Love that 009 Sapphire Black paint! Shame it was only offered on the Limiteds. Beautiful car...

:deniro:

Most excellent route! It's the same area where I have traveled 7 times on the annual Alpentour (generally I've driven an R107, but this year I had a R113 280SL Pagoda). Some of the best roads in the world.

I see you passed right by my German home base of Freising, just north of Munich, on the A9. Also you went through Regensburg -- this is where BMW makes all 3-Series and M3 coupes. I stayed there the night before I drove to Prague and partied with some locals at their city's summer Festival :)

Sorry I missed you when I was in Prague in June :(

Thanks for sharing the photos !!

Cheers,
Gerry

@gsxr: Thanx :) I love the 009 too and during the last two years I have found the Brabus Monoblocks III too heavy for the car so I have to refurbish the original EVO II and put them back on the car.

@Gerry: I was really astonished by the slovenian Jura and next year I would like to visit Slovenia for more time and see the coast as well :) If you plan some trip to Prague just let me know :) I was driving and my friend was taking most of the photos so I will share some more next week :)

Cheers,
Honza

Great post. Nice to see your E500 being used as the factory intended. Please post more pics :)

I looked on your website and found this photo which I assume is of your car. Are you using wheel spacers with the stock 16x8" wheels?

My stock wheels are EVO II 8,25x17 (Limited) and as well as by the 8x16 are no spacers needed :)

Nice picture of one of the cars in Czech Republic with my friend Martin behind the wheel :)

My car is on photos above :)

Your Limited is very nice :)

It is Martin's car I was looking at. I am sure his stock 16" wheels have been pushed out with spacers and I would love to know what specs he used.

Martin is an automotive journalist and the car was on these photos was just used for the test. He is not the owner of this car but I know the former owner and I aks him about the spacers.

All .036 cars buyed as new in Czech republic were owned by very controversial persons. That is the result of the "wild 90tees" after the "velvet revolution" in our country :)

Beautiful car, Honza. I only wish i could drive some of those roads you have "over there". I think Evos look especially nice on dark colored cars.

cadence: 20mm spacers will put stock wheels (16x8) where you see them in the pic above. When using spacers, always use good quality (H&R or similar) hub-centric design with custom length lug bolts.
