I've been wanting to do this project since there are no funds for painting the car and refurbishing the wheels.

plastidipped the wheels and grill with anthracite color and black chromed the rest of the chrome moldings.

clear and smoked corner and tai lights

That looks nice, great appearance! :-)

But that striping is a bit old fashioned in my taste, it breaks up the beautiful lines on the 036.

Is the plastidip durable? I had my grille insert painted the 199 color to match the body but there is not good adhesion to the plastic. I'm looking for another solution as I love to subtle look.

Also, where did you get it done?

Plastidip isn't that durable, but when you add the glosifier is better.
it is also cheap to respray any damaged areas.
i did all the work it was pretty easy.
