***Rare*** E500/500E E400/420E Exhaust bracket 124 492 46 41

I am selling a front exhaust support bracket for the 500E/E500, and the 400E/E420. This metal bracket attaches the front portion of the exhaust system (ahead of the catalytic converts) to the transmission.

The part number is 124 492 46 41, and the cost of the bracket new from MB is $236 (discounters are selling for $177). It's a pretty rare part and is specific to the .036 and the .034 models (V-8 W124s).

The part is discussed in this thread. Its price has skyrocketed in the past two years.

This one was removed from a 1993 400E. It is in EXC- condition, with no scratching or scraping on the painted metal surface of the bracket itself. The paint is scraped off around the two bolt holes where the bracket attached to the exhaust system, but this is of no consequence to the overall condition of functionality of the part, and is normal wear for something that has been previously installed on a vehicle. This was removed from a low mileage wreck (113k miles)

The part has been cleaned and is ready to install. This comes with the mounting hardware shown.
