That grease fitting is not unique, is still a standard grease fitting but used much less, especially where available space or interference is the issue (is also known as "flush-type" grease fitting, German standard DIN 3405). You can still use a regular grease gun but you will need a "needle-nose" adapter. Here is an example:MB came out with a grease gun, specifically for door hinges?
... but I moved my hand differently ....Basically what I was saying.

gsxr = The Man.
is that dino ATF or synthetic![]()

Yes, @nocfn orders the curved tip syringes in bulk from Uncle Kent.curved tip syringes are good little tools for this, application of Gleitpaste or anti-seize etc.
Force-choke until you tell the truth?NEGATIVE! I ordered from Amazon about 4 years ago, got 100 for like $3.63. I will offer 5@$20 including shipping to the 50 states![]()

The OP didn't specify, but AFAIK Chicky doesn't own a 124... but he does own an R129. Would need clarification on the chassis in question here, because the needle thingy won't help a 124 hinge.@gsxr only addresses 126, not 124 as the OP asked.

You're welcome! I suggest look on EBay from your location to see what sellers ship to your country. At my end EBay shows me the ones that ship within USA. In the search box type "grease gun needle nose adapter". Another way is to visit your local tool stores, I am sure that they have what you are looking for. Driving your car to the store would be best because you can show them what you need and they would give you the right tools.
Look for a grease gun for a chain saw. This will work perfectly and is very small. For the 126.
For the 124, there is no grease fitting, and it's best to just apply it externally to the hinges.
I am strongly assuming you meant for the W124, because this is posted in the "Tools" forum and not the "126" forum.

Hello Guest !
We wanted to let you know about a new resource that is now available to all 500Eboard members. This is a comprehensive database of all US-market (and soon to include Canadian-market) 500E and E500 models delivered for the 1992 through 1994 model years.
Data for this resource has been compiled continuously since mid-2003, and much of this information is seeing the light of day for the very first time ever. This new resource will allow you to utilize 500Eboard research and resources to track specific cars, their sale history, documented modifications, and other information that has surfaced over the years.
We are also providing analytics about the cars' production. This means that if you are curious as to how many "Signal Red" cars were produced for the US market with a black interior, specifically in Model Year 1993, you can now easily find this information. You can also find aggregated information -- for example, how many "Black Pearl" cars were imported into the US over the three-year span.
You can always find and enjoy this resource by clicking here (bookmark the site for easy reference!), or by going to the “500Eboard Registry and VIN Database” sub-forum below. You can also find a VIN Database button at the top of your screen, for easy access.
We hope you enjoy this resource. A LOT of blood, sweat and tears over nearly 23 years have gone into its creation.
Cheers,
500Eboard Management
