Replacing the A/C compressor clutch

Has anyone ever replaced the clutch on the A/C compressor on the M119 engine?
Mine just quit.
Also, need to source one.
The part numbers I have off the clutch itself refer back to the whole compressor....and I really hope I don't have to replace that.

Thanks.

Yup, I did this years ago... the clutch rubber portion failed due to being oil soaked. I was able to swap on a good used clutch assembly from a different compressor. No need to remove the compressor from the car, no need to discharge the system.

The clutch was sold separately but I don't know if it's available or NLA. Do you need 8-groove or 6-groove?

Also, what was the failure mode of your old clutch?

I managed to get a used one from the local wrecker. The failure was the rubber in the front half of the clutch ( the easy part to remove..one bolt). Probably due to the PS fluid drip drip dripping on it from that weeping hose reservoir to pump. Something else to keep an eye on.
